Ben Singh, DVM
Dr. Ben Singh has cared for pets as a general practitioner at Carlsbad Animal Hospital since 2008. He enjoys saving and improving the lives of animals and believes helping pets lead healthy, happy lives makes a difference in the world.
A native of Woodbridge, NJ, Dr. Singh attended Kean University and Rutgers University, where he majored in Biology/Pre-Medicine. He received his Bachelor's Degree in Biology in 1992. He went on to complete his veterinary education at St. George's University and was awarded his Doctorate of Veterinary Medicine in 2005. Dr. Singh also attended a Master's program for Chemical Engineering at the New Jersey Institute of Technology.
Dr. Singh is a member of the American Veterinary Medical Association, the American Animal Hospital Association and the San Diego County Veterinary Medical Association. Soft tissue surgery, cardiology and exotic pet medicine are among his many interests.
At home, Dr. Singh enjoys the companionship of his four dogs, Mason, Luke, Lili and Tyler, a cat named Chico and two fish tanks and a pond full of fish. When not busy with his duties at the hospital, he enjoys gardening, bowling, swimming and going on hikes with his fiance.
